Halloween in Downtown Renton

Get ready for a little Thriller magic in the heart of Downtown Renton! Join us for a family-friendly Halloween celebration filled with zombies, costumes, games, treats, and plenty of fun for all ages.

Start the afternoon with Downtown Trick-or-Treating, then head to Legacy Square for zombie makeup, photos, games, prizes, and more. Come dressed in your Halloween best and enter the Costume Contest, with categories for pets, kids, teens, and adults!

Then get ready to dance! Learn the iconic Thriller choreography before joining the crowd at 3 PM for a group performance as part of the annual Worldwide Simultaneous Dance to Thriller.

Cool trophies and prizes will be awarded to contest winners, with additional prizes and goodies from our community partners.

Pumpkin Patch & Pumpkin Contest

Pick out a pumpkin at the Pumpkin Patch hosted by Sustainable Renton, then bring your already-carved masterpiece to Legacy Square to enter the Pumpkin Contest!

And if you spot a pumpkin you love, you may be able to bid on it and take it home! Pumpkins will be available for a fun community auction, with proceeds benefiting Sustainable Renton.

Carve at home, bring it with you, show it off, and maybe take home a new favorite!
