Rep for Renton - Community Workout
Summer Sundays at Legacy Square: Rep for Renton Fitness Challenge
This event is part of Summer Sundays at Legacy Square, a free community series hosted by the Renton Downtown Partnership, the City of Renton, and Rep for Renton. Throughout the summer, enjoy a variety of experiences that bring people together in the heart of Downtown Renton—from wellness and culture to music, arts, and family-friendly activities.
Discover the strength of Downtown Renton's fitness community at the Rep for Renton Fitness Challenge—an interactive wellness event designed to showcase local gyms, fitness studios, and health professionals while inviting the community to get moving together.
The morning begins at 10:00 AM, giving attendees time to explore vendor booths, meet local wellness professionals, and discover health-focused products and services from businesses including Myo Movement, HiDEF Physical Therapy, and Copa Fruits, offering chair massages, physical therapy resources, and fresh wellness beverages for purchase.
At 10:45 AM, participants will gather for introductions before the main event kicks off at 11:00 AM. Experience a high-energy, one-hour fitness showcase led by Vigor Ground Fitness, APT Health & Fitness, and Krav Maga Renton. Each business will bring its own unique training style, giving participants the opportunity to sample a variety of workouts while discovering local places to stay active and healthy.
Following the workout, from 12:00–1:00 PM, continue exploring vendor offerings, connect with participating businesses, and cast your vote in our friendly community competition. Help crown this year's:

Throughout the summer, enjoy a variety of experiences that bring people together in the heart of Downtown Renton—from wellness and culture to music, arts, and family-friendly activities.
Get ready for an evening of laughter with Director's Cut, an all-ages interactive improv comedy show presented by Take 5 Improv. In this fast-paced performance, five "movie directors" compete in a fictional film festival, each creating an entirely improvised movie inspired by audience suggestions. At the end of the night, you decide which film deserves to be crowned Film of the Fest!
Everything you see is created completely on the spot, making every performance one-of-a-kind. Featuring a cast of local professional improvisers who have performed across the country and around the world, Director's Cut delivers quick wit, unexpected twists, and nonstop laughs for audiences of all ages.

Celebrate creativity, innovation, and young entrepreneurship at the Renton Children's Business Fair! Families are invited to explore products created and sold by three youth entrepreneurs, giving young business owners the opportunity to showcase their ideas, connect with customers, and experience what it's like to run a business.
Stop by the Renton Children's Business Fair information booth to learn how children develop business ideas, create products, set prices, and gain valuable real-world skills in creativity, communication, leadership, and confidence. Meet program organizers, hear about past fairs, and discover how your child can participate in future events.
Families can also enjoy interactive activities throughout the afternoon, including a visit to the Seattle Seawolves Rugby booth. Erasmus’ Guardian of DTR Contest - Dragon's Landing: 7th Annual Celebration
The City of Renton and The Renton Arts Commission are hosting their 7th annual Dragon’s Landing Celebration!
The Renton Downtown Partnership has been keeping it’s eye out for their new mascot. The Dragon’s Landing event is where we’ll find the true holder and title of Erasmus’ Guardian of Downtown Renton!
The Guardian of Erasmus would gain royal perks for 365 days (until the next Dragon’s Landing!) Here’s what will be bestowed to them:

Renton Community Clean Up - Holiday Haul Edition

Art Walk 2025
Explore New and Emerging Artists in Downtown Renton on the 4th Wednesdays of April, May, and June
Renton, WA – The Renton Downtown Partnership is excited to announce the return of the 2025 Art Walk, a vibrant community event showcasing the works of new and emerging artists throughout Downtown Renton. The Art Walk will take place on the 4th Wednesdays of the month from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM, beginning in April and continuing through June. The event is free to attend and open to all ages.
Hosted at local businesses in downtown Renton, the Art Walk offers a unique opportunity for attendees to explore diverse artworks while supporting the local creative community. This event encourages the public to experience art in an interactive way by visiting various participating businesses throughout the evening.
As you stroll through the downtown area, be sure to pick up a "passport" pamphlet, available at any participating business. The passport will guide you through the locations of featured artists and allow you to check off your stops as you visit each venue. It's a fun and engaging way to immerse yourself in the local art scene while exploring Renton's vibrant downtown.

This event is being hosted by the Downtown Renton Partnership. The Renton Arts Commission is supporting the organization by spreading the word, volunteering and any further collaboration - big thank you to them! What is this event? What is there for me to do?
Our heart and mission is to have people get to know our Downtown community and businesses. On the day of the event, we will have pamphlets at all participating businesses that will have a “passport” of all participating artists. The businesses will be mapped on the passport pamphlet, where you can find the artists’ work to visit and mark off as you go. There will be a variety of artist mediums and even our local business owners presenting their works of art, with some live art happening as well!
What is the frequency of the events?
The fourth Wednesdays of the month, for 3 months. There will be a total of 3 Art Walks (for now!). Art will be displayed from 4pm to 7:30pm on those days. (April 24th, May 29th, and June 25th)
Does this event cost money?
It is completely free to attend and grab a passport to browse through the artists! Some may be selling their art, and of course businesses are open for business that you can support. But no cost to attend and participate.
